10 pets that may be pet friendly, but never in your home

Loneliness hits and then you decide you want to have a pet so you don't feel so alone. It is difficult to choose one from a wide variety of animals available to have at home. There are many options, even ones that no one imagines. Some very dangerous.

Among the possibilities, you may even have an idea of the unreliable ones. Others don't even think they should be away from home. We've put together a list of ten pets to avoid. Better than that: they can't be kept at home at all.

1 - Primates

Some owners treat primates (lemurs, monkeys, chimpanzees, baboons ...) like babies, putting diapers and taking strollers, but the nature of primates is already acting like babies.

If upset, they make a tantrum and scream a lot, beyond the risk that the owner runs from being bitten - the monkeys have no moral conscience. Not to mention that they can transmit many types of diseases, such as hepatitis A and HIV, the AIDS virus. Kinda scary, isn't it?

2 - Big cats

We hear reports of people right here in Brazil who have big cats, like cougars, lions, tigers, jaguars and leopards, as pets. But have you ever thought about the danger you are in? This kind of animal is extremely strong, dangerous and we are totally unable to unravel its instinct, to know its next step.

The bite of a large cat weighs tons and they kill their prey by biting its neck. And if the teeth don't kill the prey, the overwhelming pressure of the jaw will surely do so. So you may even have the dream of having a big cat as a pet, but a cute little kitten is recommended.

3 - Poisonous Snakes

There are people who have a crush on danger and what they really want is poisonous snakes as pets. Without this one! Snakes are capable of killing humans with a single bite and there is no antiophid serum that can be applied so quickly that it can cure the person. Not to mention some species that spit poison in the eyes and cause blindness immediately.

Anyone who wants to have a pet snake can opt for several other species that do not produce poison. They can be kept at home by taking the necessary security measures; if they escape, they do not endanger anyone's life. Not worth risking.

4 - Bears

In Brazil it is practically impossible to have a bear as a pet, but the desire that many people have to own one is very great. We still have the sight of cuddly stuffed animals, but not quite. Already registered animals weighing about a ton. The lighter ones weigh about 80 to 100 pounds.

Bears are thrown at the person just on their hind legs and can hit to death with quick strokes of their paws. But then some people say, "Circus bears are trained. I could train mine." Would you trust? I do not!

5 - Quatis

Another cute animal that a lot of people want to squeeze. Do not do it! Coatis have 38 to 40 very sharp teeth that can come into play at any time as they are wild animals and require a large place to roam. They are extremely active and difficult to train, eliminating the possibility of raising them at home.

6 - Bats

Do you find it hard to have someone who wants to have a bat as a pet? Believe me: yes there is! We cannot deny that they are, in their own way, beautiful and intriguing animals, but it is best to watch them on TV, in a zoo or carefully in their natural habitat. No taking them to your house, please!

Bats transmit rabies and other diseases, bringing the possibility of zoonosis. They also have very sharp teeth, bringing danger to the people in their home and the entire neighborhood. There is no way to have and take care of a bat in your house, so do not intentionally catch these animals.

7 - Wolves and Jackals

There is no denying the beauty of these animals, but wolves and jackals are too wild to live alongside humans. They are not domesticated, and bringing such an animal home is a serious risk, as they act on their instincts - hunting, playing, sleeping and attacking at will.

An interesting curiosity is that wolves and jackals can feel a sick animal within a group, even when the animal has no symptoms. The wolf dog has grown in popularity as a pet, but they are not much different from their pure wolf cousins and should also be avoided.

8 - Juparás

Also from the raccoon family, the jupará has grown in popularity in recent years. Smaller than their cousin coati, they are nocturnal creatures and well known for their aggressiveness. They do not like being woken up during the day, screaming, grabbing and biting even their owners.

9 - Alligators and Crocodiles

Is there anyone who has reptiles as pets? Exist! And that still treats the animal like a baby. Can you believe? But it is not common sense to trust a huge animal that can kill prey as large as cattle. Most homes can't even accommodate an animal of this size.

The tail whip of an alligator or crocodile can break a person's legs. The bite of these reptiles causes infections that result in amputations - if the amputation is not immediate - and can kill by force, which weighs about two tons.

10 - Foxes

Some people claim that foxes can be tamed for being meek, but the truth is that this is far from happening and they are very dangerous, especially when you have a child around. This animal has sharp teeth and, when frightened, resort to its wild instincts, attacking anyone.

In addition to this imminent danger of attack, foxes have a characteristic musky odor that is not pleasant at all. There is no vaccination protocol for foxes. This means that they can transmit diseases with their bite and even simply living with humans. Give up on this idea.

...

It's pretty hard for the animal of your dreams to be on this list, but if so, how about replacing it with a cute puppy, cuddly cat or goldfish? They are much more docile, can live freely with people and you do not risk seeing yourself inside scary jaws or huge paws! It's just a tip!
