10 caring for little ones at Carnival

Confetti, streamer, fantasy and ... Kids! This is how it will be the Carnival of many parents in Brazil, because children can, yes, enjoy this typical festival, character or not, as authorized by the pediatrician, which happens around 6 months.

In recent years, the presence of children in carnival events has increased and today, there are already countless safe options to enjoy with children. The little ones also like this time of year because they can dress up, play with confetti and streamers or spend extra time with their family if their parents' preference is more homely. Alternatives abound to infect the family with joy. Check it out:

Matinee in the clubs

The traditional country clubs in many cities often hold ballrooms in the halls in the morning or in the afternoon, designed especially for little ones. Decoration, play and music are totally linked to the children's universe in a safe environment. Children can go in costume, with their faces painted or dressed normally.

Street blocks

The streets are filled with carnival blocks, often crowded with drunken and over-excited big guys. This is not the best place for kids to be. That's why the children's blocks are so successful!

At this celebration, the number of adults is reduced, but there is no shortage of costumed children throwing confetti through the streets, with their own music for their age.

Party at home

If going out is not an option for parents, how about recreating the mood of Carnival indoors or the ballroom?

Invite friends, prepare custom foods for the occasion, such as snacks and drinks decorated with masks and bladders, choose upbeat music (in this activity, the child can help himself), put on the costume and have fun indoors.

Parade on the avenue

Samba schools usually go out on the main avenues of the city. Check out where the parade will take place and get there early to get the best seat. It is worth taking a stool if the place has no stands, as children can get tired easily.
If your child gets excited, maybe you won't get him to samba on the avenue next year ?! Most schools allow children to parade as well.

Family trip

Many places are open-door to families who prefer to leave home in search of a quiet holiday spot. The hotels usually offer specific activities for children in different age groups and the little ones can still enjoy to know a new city next to the country.

Stay at home

Those who prefer to stay indoors and escape the revelry can not fail to offer some entertainment for their children, as it is a holiday that lasts 4 days and the little ones can get bored. Oh, and it's not worth dropping the little one all day in the pram. At night, besides being bored he will be fully rested and may take a long time to sleep.

Movie marathons, cooking classes, storytelling ... Innovate and make every day a fun experience for your child.

Other activities

Some locations operate normally during the period. How about taking the kids to the park or to that museum you never had time to take it to or see a new movie at the movies?

10 CARNIVAL CARE

As this is a busy time, parents should be aware of some precautions that will ensure an even better holiday. Follow below:

1 - Include some kind of identification in the child. In crowded environments, they can be lost, and with a simple bracelet or ID badge with the name and contact of the person in charge, the location will be easier.

2 - Beware of fantasies and facial makeup. Make sure paint is nontoxic, makeup is not expired, and clothing does not pose a risk to your child's integrity.

3 - Confetti, horns and foams also deserve special attention. Instruct your children not to put them in their mouths or eyes and pay attention to what they are doing.

4 - Avoid going with children outdoors on rainy days or during peak sun times (between 10am and 4pm). Use sunscreen.

5 - On the street, children can move away from their parents and event to nearby streets that are not blocked for vehicle traffic. Always be around and guide your child about this danger.

6 - Indoors, children may be exposed to the transmission of diseases such as colds, flu and conjunctivitis. Be careful!

7 - Choose locations that meet your child's needs. If the child is still in the chest, make sure the place has a dedicated space at this time. If she needs changing diapers, find out if the bathroom is equipped with a diaper.

8 - At beaches or pools, always put buoy or lifeguards on the little ones. Make sure there are no holes or holes before dressing them.

9 - Try to take snacks from home. Fresh fruit, milk and well-preserved crackers will offer even more energy for the little ones to stay on. Avoid offering foods from places of unknown origin.

10 - Parents should avoid excess alcohol, especially if they are responsible for their children. Alcohol can distract parents, whether in childcare or driving, on the way home.

NOW, JUST USE

Parents should choose the best carnival options for their children and always accompany the child or have a guardian nearby. There are so many options you can enjoy one a day! Little ones will love it, and parents will have to have a lot of energy to cope with such joy.
