17 theories created by Game of Thrones fans

Yeah, much to Game of Thrones fans' sadness, the eighth - and last! - Season of the series is 2019. She should follow the hook left at the end of the seventh, since now the story is taking a totally different course from the books of George RR Martin. While next year is not coming, how about speculating what could happen next season, with 17 fan-created theories? Check out:

1. Another Targaryen

In "Dragon and the Wolf, " Daenerys tells Jon that she cannot have children, and he disputes it, claiming that the witch who said this is unreliable. Besides, the two were in a very intimate moment in the last episode, right? There may be a 100% Targaryen baby on the way.

2. Speaking of which ..

Melisandre predicted that the Promised Prince, Azor Ahai, will be reborn and be the only one capable of defeating the Others using the Luminiferous sword of fire. Azor Ahai was clearly not Stannis Baratheon and, according to prophecy, the Prince is Targaryen. So why wouldn't it be Jon and Daenerys's baby?

3. Plot twist

Or maybe Jon is Azar Ahai himself. Since he's a Targaryen, nothing prevents him from fitting into the theory, right? If so, it would mean that he will kill the Dragon Mother, since, in legend, the Prince had to assassinate his wife to forge the Luminiferous sword.

4. The final battle

Have you thought that perhaps the final battle is not against the dead? Cersei took a nice turn on last season's situation, and everyone knows what a good strategist she is. This will take full advantage of the battle against the ice dead. There are fans who believe that this conflict really would roll out at the beginning of the new season, but the final battle would actually be the houses vying for the Westeros throne.

5. Cersei's Pregnancy

Is there anyone in Westeros who doesn't want to kill Cersei? To make things easier, some believe that the queen will die with her new pregnancy. Just remember the prophecy, which said she would have three children and be killed by the youngest. So fans think it will be the boy who will kill his mother during childbirth.

6. Arya is still in the game

Another possibility is Arya killing Cersei. She still has names to cross out on her revenge list, one of which is Jaime Lannister's. For some, she will kill him and get his face in order to get close to Cersei and murder her shortly thereafter. It will be?

7. Bran Stark would be the King of Night

A Reddit user believes this theory remains possible. For him, with the passage of the Others across the Wall, the Three-eyed Crow would have gone back to trying to contain the invasion. He would have been trapped in this dimension of time, and thus become the first of the Others.

8. Return from Baratheon House

Since the beginning of the series, some houses have gone extinct. Among them was Baratheon House, whose members died. Only the father or king could legitimize Gendry with the family surname and apparently this will happen.

9. The clash of dragons

The King of Night revived the dragon Viserion, turning one of Daenerys' sons into an extremely powerful and dangerous weapon. Targaryen doesn't know this yet, but it will probably need Drogon and Rhaegal, the last two giant dragons, who can help contain the zombie dragon.

10. The Mad Queen's Death

That Cersei is getting more and more out of control, no one argues. Apparently, this picture should get worse and worse, with the queen becoming more and more dangerous to the rest of the characters. So maybe she will be killed by someone you trust - as pointed out in the valonqar prophecy. Candidates include Jaime, Tyrion and Arya.

11. Bran goes to wargar for a dragon

Since Bran is the Three-Eyed Crow, he has unbelievable powers of warring into other beings, that is, entering their minds and even controlling their actions. For some fans, he will "take over" some of Daenerys's dragons, which could be very useful if Euron takes control of the dragons.

12. The King of the Night wins

Yeah, the most pessimistic fans believe that the King of the Night will dominate Westeros. And, well, everyone knows that George RR Martin doesn't like happy endings very much, right? So it is quite possible that this theory is true.

13. Bran is the Lord of Light

Like the Three-Eyed Crow, Bran has an immense amount of power, can go back to the past and change the future. So one theory says that all the visions and theories are Bran telling people what is going to happen, and they even created a religion out of it. The name? "Bran, the Lord of Light."

14. The Iron Throne will be destroyed.

The Iron Throne is the only thing that keeps everyone in the fight during the series. However, according to one theory, it will cease to exist - it will be destroyed by whoever wins.

15. Euron Greyjoy will steal a dragon

This character was a sadistic villain from last season and has so far done a lot of damage. That is the question: what if he took control of some Khaleesi dragon? In the books, that would be possible, especially with him vying for Cersei's hand.

16. Varys was in control of everything.

Everything that has happened so far would have been Varys's work: he would have conspired for Daenerys to marry Khal Drogo and testified against Tyrion to get him out of Port Royal. Although it seems powerless, it can handle others very well.

17. Tyrion is a Targaryen

This is one of the oldest theories in the series and is still used by fans to justify Tywin's hatred for his youngest son: Tyrion would be Aerys' bastard son with Joanna, so the third head of the Targaryen's coat of arms.
