20 photos show what the world would be like if cats were giants

Cat lovers have probably imagined themselves in the famous Aoshima, popularly known as Cat Island in Japan. The love of cats always makes tutors imagine countless cats, such as in those scenes where the bed is taken by cute kittens. But have you ever wondered what it would be like if the world were populated by giant cats?

Imagine three-foot cats strolling between buildings, trying to hide among the trees of a park or playing among the bridges of large cities. Russian artist Andrey Scherback has not only imagined, but has also made available nearly 150 images of giant cats on the Internet in common settings.

The photos are impressive, and just like the full-size real cats, the giant cats portrayed in the photos appear doing everything and always with Andrey. Using the pseudonym Petechka Odnobokov, Andrey already has over 11, 000 Instagram followers. He has three cats, Pif, Panya and Rooney. "The idea came to me by chance. I was looking at a photo album and had a photo in the woods, and it occurred to me to add a cat. I decided to create an Instagram account full of photos of me with cats, because it's not very different from mine. I live a very isolated life, ”he said.

According to him, each photo takes an average of four hours to get ready with the perfect edit. “I tried to portray mine, but they are never quiet. I can finish some pictures in an hour, but sometimes putting the cat is hard and I have to start over, ”he explained.

Andrey says the main tools used in editing are Photoshop and VSCO.
