20th Century Fox gets new logo

According to The New York Times, about a month ago, News Corporation, one of the largest US communications conglomerates, announced that it would adopt the name “21st Century Fox” to name its new media and entertainment company, which includes Fox News, Fox Broadcasting, and the Hollywood studio focused on film and television production. And now, through a video posted on vimeo - which you can check out below - the group presented what will be the logo to identify the newly created company. The new identity marks the separation between News Corporation's entertainment and news division.

Basically, the logo is a streamlined, straightforward, and modernized version of the iconic image that has appeared for decades in a number of box office hits, and instead of the old wind instrument sound, futuristic noises have been included. According to Rupert Murdoch, the company's CEO and founder, the new identity reflects 20th Century Fox's rich creative heritage and signals its ambition for the future.

So, reader, what did you think of the new identity? Do you think she got any better than the last? Tell us in the comments.
