7 murderers and psychopaths who found love after their arrest

1. Randall Woodfield

During 1979 and 1981, Randall Woodfield kidnapped, beat, raped and killed at least 18 victims aged 14-37. He was arrested and sentenced to life imprisonment. His story was supposed to be horrible enough to keep any woman away from him, but surprisingly, Randall was married three times while behind bars.

In 2006, he had a MySpace account that was monitored by his friends as he could not access the internet. On his profile was the description: “I'm Randy, I'm 55 years old. I will spend the rest of my days in prison because I committed murders and other crimes. ” Apparently this simple and straightforward description was enough to attract many women.

2. Phillip Jablonski

Phillip Jablonski grew up in a troubled family and spent her childhood watching her father abuse his sisters. As an adult, he adopted the practices he learned from his parent. In 1968, he married his first wife, Alice, but she left him after he tried to suffocate her during sex.

In 1977, he married Linda, with whom he had a daughter. It was then that Phillip tried to rape his mother-in-law and when his wife decided to leave he simply killed her.

He was sentenced to 12 years in prison for the crime and, while in jail, decided to place an ad in a city newspaper looking for a mate. Unbelievably, the young Carol Spadoni answered him and the two got married.

After being released, Phillip moved in with his new wife, but his old ways were back: on April 22, 1991, he raped and killed 38-year-old Fathyma Vann. With a knife, he wrote “I love Jesus” on the victim's back as well as plucking his eyes and ears.

The next day, the killer smothered Carol with duct tape and stabbed her until she died. Her mother-in-law, Eva Peterson, was not spared either. Phillip was again arrested and sentenced to death.

3. Kenneth Bianchi

For years, Kenneth Bianchi and his cousin Angelo Bruno have terrorized the streets of Los Angeles by raping, torturing and killing girls and women. When he was finally arrested, Kenneth claimed mental insanity, but was nevertheless sentenced to life imprisonment.

While serving his sentence, he met Veronica Compton, a young aspiring actress. To help Kenneth, she did her best to confuse the jurors by giving several false testimonials in favor of her boyfriend.

Since the plan didn't work out, Kenneth went on to something much more risky: he asked Veronica to lure a woman into a motel and murder her just as he and his cousin did, in order to get the police to believe that the real man killer was loose.

Veronica tried to strangle the victim, but failed and was arrested. With the girl behind bars, Kenneth saw no use for her anymore and ended the relationship. But the girl was not alone for long: soon she met and fell in love with Douglas Daniel Clark, responsible for beheading 7 women.

Kenneth also did not lag behind and married Shirlee Book in 1989. Interestingly, Shirlee had been trying to get involved with serial killer Ted Bundy, but he was not attracted to her.

4. Ted Bundy

And speaking of him, Ted Bundy was one of the most famous serial killers and was known to deceive women with his pleasing and harmless appearance. What they didn't know was that they were getting involved with a rapist, murderer and necrophile. In his home were found photos and evidence of the crimes, including 12 beheaded heads of his victims.

Despite all the terror that Ted caused, as soon as he was arrested he received hundreds of letters from women who wrote to him daily. Carol Ann Boone started dating Ted even before he was arrested and even smuggled money to help him. She married him in 1980, at the time of his trial, and the two had a daughter in 1982. Seven years later, he was executed in a Florida prison.

5. Arthur Shawcross

Arthur Shawcross's first victim was only 10 years old when she was raped and choked to death. Months later, 8-year-old Karen Ann Hill disappeared and her body was found under a bridge. She had also been abused.

Arthur was finally discovered and sentenced to 25 years in prison, but served only 12 as he was no longer considered a risk to society. This was a big mistake of US justice.

As soon as he got out of jail, Arthur's murderous instincts became even more dangerous and he killed at least 12 women. He was only captured again when police caught him pissing on a bridge where a victim's body was.

Arthur and Clara

Again in jail, he met Clara D. Neal, whom he married. In 2008, he died in prison after a cardiac arrest.

6. Oscar Bolin

It was 1986 when 17-year-old Stephanie Anne Collins, 25-year-old Natalie Holley, and 26-year-old Teri Lynn Matthews were brutally murdered. Oscar Bolin was convicted of the crime and even his wife testified against him.

But public defender Rosalie Martinez spent so much time with Oscar that she was convinced he was a sensitive person and unable to commit such brutality. Rosalie was so obsessed with the affair that she left her family - husband and four children - to marry Oscar. She remained by his side for two decades until he was executed in January this year.

7. Suzane von Richthofen

14 years ago, Suzane von Richthofen was part of one of the most talked about and well-known crimes in Brazil. On October 31, 2002, the Richthofen couple's eldest daughter opened the family mansion doors for a shocking crime: the brutal murder of their parents. Manfred and Marísia were slashed to the head by Suzane's boyfriend and brother-in-law, the Carnation brothers.

After marrying and separating from detainee Sandra Ruiz the Sandrão, Suzane now dates Rogério Olberg, with whom she maintains a relationship through letters. In an interview, Rogério told of the difficulties he has been experiencing since he took over: “I'm going through a complicated situation. Because of all this, I lost my job, many friends are gone and I'm being harassed on social networks. Now I'm Suzane's boyfriend. It's like I've lost my identity. I have no privacy anymore, they say I'm crazy, psycho, they curse me. I always tried to be the best. I don't know what tomorrow looks like, no one will want to give Suzane's boyfriend a job, ”he said.
