7 widely known disaster conspiracy theories

1. The Titanic never sank

Everyone knows what happened: the "unsinkable" ship crashed into an iceberg and sank in April 1912. But is it true? There are people who believe that it was all a staging to receive the insurer's money. This story came about because White Star, the company that made Titanic, was sinking (tum tum tss). The Titanic's twin ship, called the Olympic, was involved in two accidents in 1911, causing much damage.

Since repairing this ship would be very expensive, he would have switched roles with the Titanic and been sunk in a staged accident. Many key passengers canceled the ship's supposed maiden voyage without explanation, and insurance company officials were told not to be on the alleged Titanic - rumors that helped propagate the version that it was the sinking Olympic.

2. A UFO helped the Chernobyl disaster not be even worse

The accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant during an April 1986 safety test is one of the best known in history. The explosion created a fire that spread rapidly through the plant. One officer managed to prevent one of the generators from being stopped, because if it did, it could explode releasing over 180 tons of uranium, which could cause damage in half of Europe!

The “miracle”, however, may not have been the work of an official: in 1988 reports began to emerge that a spacecraft had been seen hovering over the plant. That UFO could have reduced radiation levels and mitigated the catastrophe!

3. The 2004 tsunami was caused by a nuclear experiment.

At the very end of 2004, the world discovered the magnificent power of nature in awe: a gigantic tsunami erupted after an Indian Ocean earthquake and swept through some countries, killing more than 230, 000 people!

Many people believe, however, that the tsunami only happened after India, backed by the United States, made a nuclear test that went out of control. Since most deaths were from Muslims, this theory gained a lot of strength. Even India would be thinking of ways to exterminate highly populated areas - precisely those hit by the waves.

4. Plane shot down on purpose

In November 2001, American Airlines Flight 587 crashed shortly after takeoff in New York, killing 265 people. The accident happened because the plane got into a turbulent wake that caused the co-pilot to overuse the hand rudder to the point of breaking it! This caused the engine and tail pieces to detach from the plane and suddenly hit the ground.

This accident came two months after the September 11 attacks - which also contain numerous conspiracy theories - and heightened panic in the United States. However, some people think he was deliberately overthrown. It turns out that there are no reports of engines and tail coming off without any problem, not to mention that a fire was allegedly seen by people on the ground before these parts detached themselves from the aircraft.

5. Spanish flu was caused by vaccination

By 1918, an influenza pandemic would have killed up to 100 million people worldwide, making it one of the deadliest natural disasters in history! Despite its name, the flu did not originate in Spain; But since the country was not in World War I, journalists there were the first to notice the strange outbreaks of death from the influenza virus.

Now, did this virus really exist? Conspiracy theories try to prove that people were actually poisoned during vaccinations! There have also been reports that several soldiers have developed childhood paralysis, which is one of the "parallel" symptoms of this deadly vaccine.

6. New Orleans dikes were bombed during the Katrina Pass

More than 80 percent of the city of New Orleans was flooded after the passage of Hurricane Katrina disrupted the dams that dammed Lake Pontchartrain in 2005. Nearly 2, 000 people died in this natural disaster, but some believe it was not so natural. like this...

Many city dwellers claim that the dikes were deliberately bombarded to break and cause a process of "ethnic cleansing" as the city had a large black population. In other words, everything would have been just one of the greatest genocides in the history of mankind! In 1927, parts of the dike were actually blown up, causing flooding of predominantly black neighborhoods - did history repeat itself?

7. Aurora Program Caused Haiti Earthquake

Haiti, one of the poorest countries in the world, experienced a tremendous tremor in January 2010, causing the deaths of over 300, 000 people. Although not the strongest earthquake ever recorded, it happened in a very precarious region with no buildings prepared for this kind of event.

But some theories suggest that this earthquake was responsible for the United States High Frequency Active Aurora Research Program (HAARP), which supposedly studies the ionospheric processes that could aid communications. This technology would be powerful enough to cause earthquakes, and a US experiment would have gone out of control and caused the catastrophe. It will be?
