However, there are some we didn't even know existed, being from celebrities and well-known personalities who are friends from a very young age and even attended the same school or college. Dustin Hoffman, Robert Duvall and Gene Hackman: This Hollywood trio has been known for over half a century. In the late 1950s, Gene Hackman helped Dustin Hoffman find a place to stay in New York and his new roommate was Robert Duvall.
