Canadian astronaut gives tips on how to take photos in orbit [video]

Canadian astronaut and photographer Chris Hadfield, author of "You Are Here: Around the World in 92 Minutes, " spoke in a question and answer session on how to stabilize the camera in a zero gravity situation.

"It's really hard to have a serene tracking, especially if something moves at a constant rate, " he said of the challenge of photographing moving objects.

"Imagine if this camera is floating in front of me, so I don't have to constantly push up and use delicate motor skills, " he continues. "But if I instead let go of the camera ... and track down like this [pulls the camera down]? We were so good at it in orbit that we could take unsupported pictures at night with long exposures."

So guys, if you have opportunities to take photos while in space, is Chris Hadfield's tip. Here are the pictures he took of the International Space Station.
