Brazilian hits Instagram with celebrity 'cospobre'

Some people actually invest in costumes of their favorite characters. Famous cosplays dominate geek events around the world, and there are people who really play headfirst into play. However, the ones that usually generate the most comment are the poor: those individuals who, with very few resources, can recreate very funny clothes.

We have already shown the exploits of Thai Anucha Saengchart (twice!). Using materials such as scissors, garbage bags, mice and post-its, the guy invents the most diverse fantasies of the gamer world or the cinematic universe.

But we don't even have to go to the other side of the planet: here in Brazil there is a boy who mimics the look of celebrities with enormous creativity. Salvador, BA's Joao Paulo got 54, 000 more followers on his Instagram just by recreating clothes and dresses worn by people like Taís Araújo, Jennifer Lopez, Nicole Bahls, Justin Bieber, Caitlyn Jenner, Carla Perez and Miley Cirus.

Their outfits are made with many good ideas and usually few resources. Towels, pans, foil and toilet paper are among the materials used by John Paul - he even used flour to mimic cocaine when copying a photo of Wagner Moura in the Narcos series. Check out some of your best recreations:

Websites from the US, England and Spain, among others, have already shown John Paul's fun inventions, and even some celebrities have had fun and shared the “honors” they received!
