Fleeing goats are rescued from a bridge at 30 meters

Some species of goats such as Moroccan or mountain goats like to live on high, whether climbing trees or mountains. However, this feature is not commonly seen in domestic goats. So the scare when rescuers were called to rescue two goats trying to cross a bridge through the support beams.

The case took place earlier this month in Lawrence County, Pennsylvania, when two runaway goats were spotted 30 meters above the Mahoning River. They had fled a nearby farm and were trying to cross a bridge through the support beams.

The place where they stepped was extremely narrow, could lead to a fatal fall at any time. The rescue involved a crane and a major operation, as any sudden movement could scare them. Interestingly, the goat ahead seemed to have liked to climb out of the rescue basket, while the other decided to go back to safety on her own. The crane followed its return closely to act in an emergency. In the end, both were returned safe and sound to the farm from which they fled.
