Lion dog succeeds in São Carlos

A family from São Carlos, SP, adopted a mutt dog a few years ago. The animal was too hairy and was named after Leo. That's why his fur was cut into a mane and dyed to look even more like the feline.

The dog was a hit with the locals and, of course, with the family's children. In an interview with G1, the owner of the dog, Heliziane Passos, said that the pet died two years ago and that she had the idea to adopt another dog and do the same thing, because her children were suffering a lot from the loss.

The second lion dog was very well received by the children and the neighborhood, according to Heliziane, who stated that “there are people coming from another neighborhood to bring the children to see it. Just yesterday, there were five cars taking a picture of him on the street. ”

The problem itself seems to be in the paint used to make the puppies transform. According to veterinarian Ronaldo Fornielles, this type of procedure should be done by professionals, because animal hair is different from human hair and therefore cannot be treated with the same coloring products.
