Flooded fish cafeteria opens in Vietnam

Having coffee while playing with a pet is great when you are at home, so some business owners have decided to start business with this formula. Increasingly, cafes where you can play with local dogs and cats - or even visit with your own pets - are becoming popular in the world. But the world of pets is not just about four-legged animals: in Vietnam, a madman has decided to create a place where you can interact with fish!

In this cafeteria, located in Ho Chi Minh City, 1, 700 km from Hanoi, the two floors of the establishment are flooded with up to 25 cm of water in which a huge variety of fish can swim “at ease”. Well, not that comfortable, since in these artificial tanks are the tables and chairs that customers sit down to sip their coffee. Not to mention, of course, that the crowd itself can walk among the little fish.

Before entering one of the flooded rooms, the client needs to take off his shoes and wash his feet. Each floor is covered with a layer of canvas that creates the artificial pool in which the fish are. The water is triple filtered to always be of good quality to animals, but even so many animal rights defenders are complaining about the stress caused by muvuca and human interaction with fish.

The biggest problem, for now, has been about small children trying to chase the fish and catch them with their hands, something that is prohibited inside the venue. Even so, parents do not intrude and let the little kids riot, further increasing the level of animal stress.
