Shocking: See Impressive Plane Crash in Taiwan [video]

Videos captured with the help of a dashcam - a term that refers to the practice of placing a camcorder on car dashboards - have impressed us many times. However, hardly any case will surpass the reproduction you give in opening this story.

In the short video above, a camera attached to the dashboard of a vehicle films an impressive plane crash that took place in Taipei, the capital of Taiwan. The aircraft, owned by TransAsia Airways, crashed into the Keelung River next to the bridge it collided with. According to unconfirmed information, there were a total of 58 people on board, of which 34 were found and 19 reported dead.

More details about the accident

The plane, an ATR-72 turboprop twin-engine, departed from Songshan Airport, the smallest in the Taiwanese capital, and was bound for the Kinmem Islands (China). The takeoff took place at 10:51 am (local time) this Wednesday (4) and just 10 minutes later the accident occurred.

Much of the aircraft is still submerged, making rescue operations even more difficult to rescue some survivors of the crash. The plane was less than a year old and was last revised on January 26, according to a representative of the country's Civil Aviation Authority. No information yet on the cause of the accident.
