UFO Ghost Town Shows A Bit Of Human History

Notcot recently published a curiosity about a city built in Taiwan whose house architecture was based on the shape we give to UFOs. The complex, which should be the dream of every science fiction lover, was built to function as "vacation homes".

However, it has never been very successful in terms of “actually being inhabited”, but it has become a tourist attraction for some time as well as serving as homes for the homeless. At first, there was no official reason attributed to the region becoming just another “ghost town”.

However, there is speculation that a series of fatal accidents occurred during the construction work, causing residents to believe that the site was haunted. This would have caused the project manager to stop construction. There is also the hypothesis that the venture was abandoned due to lack of funds to complete it.

Regardless of the real reason, the city was demolished in 2010, leaving only a few images made by yusheng and posted on his Flickr.
