Scientist gives new verdict on life after death

Faith in the afterlife is something that has been with humans for a long, long time. Regardless of one's religion, one can believe that after death there is another side where we live as spirits or energy.

Just as human faith in an afterlife is not a new thing, so scientists in all areas are not looking for ways to find out whether or not there is an afterlife.

A new approach to this issue, released by The Independent, brings the verdict of cosmologist and physics professor at the California Institute of Technology, Dr. Sean Carroll.

There is no life on the other side

For him, an afterlife would only be possible if we could separate consciousness from the physical body, which does not happen. He explains that consciousness is a compound of atoms and electrons that disintegrate after death.

“The laws of physics underlying everyday life are completely understood. And there is no way within these laws to allow the information stored in our brains to persist after death, ”he concluded.

Dr. Carroll also says that in Quantum Physics there is a field in the universe for each type of particle and that if there were some spiritual kind of life, particle testing would reveal something that would be called a “spiritual particle, ” which, in this area of physics, it does not exist. What's up? What do you think about the subject?
