What do kisses, snores and more sound like in many languages?

If you have ever visited another country or at least read a foreign comic book in its original language, you know that the way each culture writes the onomatopoeia of routine sounds can vary greatly from one place to another. Interested in these differences, English artist James Chapman has created a collection of fun designs that illustrate how each language records kisses, food and even snoring, among other things.

Below you can check out some of his work, which also includes camera noise, cat and dog sounds, hisses for silence, and more. See the images below, leave your opinion in the comments and be sure to check out more Chapman creations on his Tumblr, available at this link.
