What would some rock and roll idols look like if they were still alive?

As if it were a curse, big names in rock and roll and blues ended up leaving too soon, leaving us orphans of good music. There is even the 27 Club - or the 27 Club - which is the "gathering" of many artists who died when they were that age. A feather. They could have stayed much longer between us.

If that had happened, what would your features look like with advancing age? What would the faces of Kurt Cobain, Janis Joplin, Elvis Presley or Bob Marley look like if they were alive today? A project commissioned by Sachs Media used state-of-the-art technology to simulate the faces of our idols in order to know how they would look.

They are back!

The features used in these simulations are the same as those used in portraits of missing persons for many years, creating new images for their location. Using the personal characteristics of each individual, the technology presents totally realistic new portraits and, most of the time, with the utmost perfection.

"Through this series of photographs, we hope to honor and bring some of the magic these idols have offered to their millions of fans, " said Ron Sachs, CEO of Sachs Media. "So we can all reflect on the wonderful contributions these people could still have made if they were alive."

Elvis presley

Here is the king of rock! Singer, actor, songwriter, idol, Elvis was the darling of many women thanks to his unique characteristics and even today would be the reason for many sighs around the world. He died in 1977 at the age of 42 from heart failure - he was a drug addict - and today would be 78 years old.

Dennis Wilson

He was the founding member of Beach Boys, an unforgettable band in the heart of the fans. Dennis Wilson was 39 years old when he died (drowned while trying to recover priceless goods that were thrown overboard after a ship went down) and in December would celebrate 69 years of age. He was an alcoholic and a drug user.

Jim Morrison

If Jim Morrison, leader of the band The Doors, were alive, he would be exactly the way you see it in the picture: owner of an intense look, priceless talent and 70 years old (which would complete on December 8th). Jim died in 1971 of heart failure in Paris and is a member of the 27 Club.

Kurt Cobain

Another great musician who is now part of the 27 Club, Kurt Cobain killed himself in 1994 and left a legion of fans who will enjoy the sound of Nirvana forever. He would have been 46 years old if he were still alive and sported the blue eyes and strong personality that so drew attention to this great artist.

Karen Carpenter

Her name says it all: along with her brother Richard, Karen was part of The Carpenters, a hit duo in the 1970s. With a passionate voice, Karen was addicted to laxatives in an attempt to stay thin and was very hungry, until 1983 he had heart failure and died at 32 years of age. Today she would have 63.

Keith Moon

The Who wouldn't be the same band without Keith Moon. He was known for his difficult behavior, breaking hotel rooms wherever he went. She was a drug user and died of an overdose in 1978 at the age of 32. If he were alive, Keith would be 67 and one of the greatest rock drummers today.

Jimi Hendrix

Even after many years after his death, Jimi remains an inspiration to lovers of good music and will be so for generations. Also a member of the 27 Club, he died in 1970 from drug-related complications. This great artist had a short career and this month would be celebrating his 71st birthday if he were alive.

Bob Marley

What would reggae be without Bob Marley? A complete artist, he was respected by lovers of all musical genres, being introduced to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1994. He would have been 68 years old if he had not died in 1981 at 36, a cancer victim. He has sold 20 million copies throughout his career.

John Lennon

This spectacular artist was killed in 1980 at the age of 40 while leaving his apartment in New York. An irreparable loss to the music, the legendary band The Beatles and fans around the world who still have an example of a singer and rock and roll image. He would be 73 years old if he were alive.

Janis Joplin

This nice lady, if alive, would be 70 years old, but unfortunately died of an overdose in 1970 at 27, just like the other great rock idols. Owner of an irreplaceable voice and soulful performances, Janis Joplin was recognized on and off stage for her savage manner and fantastic talent.
