Check out the Death Star made with a ping pong ball

Some fans of the Star Wars saga strive to show their admiration for the characters and universe created by George Lucas. And the anonymous Japanese artist who created the above replica is no exception.

From a simple ping-pong ball, the artist, known only as armadmaru5963, created a super-detailed replica of the Death Star war base, cutting the plastic surface and installing a whole microstructure inside.

With even the destructive superlaser on one side, you can check out more images of the replica in the gallery below and imagine the amount of time, patience and dedication needed to complete the piece.
