Meet the mind-changing mutant dress

There are already technologies that can help us choose what to wear every day, and even those that show us in advance how our creations can look. But imagine having in your closet a piece of clothing that you can transform with a simple thought. All you have to do is focus for the dress to change color, lights up or the skirt to move around your body.

Created by designer Nange Slim, this dress, named Mechapolypse, can be controlled depending on the level of brain concentration of the person wearing it, reflecting their sensations. Slim - who is pursuing a master's degree in Digital Fashion in London - is passionate about electronic clothing and materials like latex, and is interested in the surreal and dark side of reality.

To create the dress, she has mixed organic and electronic materials that allow the dress to “react” to the person's thoughts by wearing the garment, turning on lights or moving the skirt around. Although the designer did not disclose further information about the project, there are already images of the prototype mutant dress, which you can check out in the gallery below.

Maybe the outfit is not very nice and the idea seems a bit bizarre, but it will certainly make many begin to imagine the many possibilities that clothing can offer.
