DC makes Valentine's cards available to nerds

Comic fans should never be forced to send ordinary Valentine's cards. That would be outrageous. DC agrees to that, of course. The label has recently made available a series of patterned cards with some of its most iconic figures - though the accompanying "romantic" phrases should make you laugh rather than soften hearts.

These are pearls like “My love is stronger than a locomotive” (Superman), “You stole my heart in a flash” (The Flash), “Say the magic word, and I'm yours” ( Captain Marvel) or “Fear not, I will always love you” (Green Lantern).

There are also beautiful heroines, of course. Batgirl comes up with a "Send me a sign, " while Catwoman has a beautiful untranslatable pun: "You're purr-fect."
