Spine Freeze: Waterfall Makes World's Most Dangerous Road Turn River

The Manang Road, which connects the cities of Besisahar and Chamé in Nepal, is one of the most dangerous in the world! It is extremely winding and lies at the foot of the Himalayas, near Annapurna Mountain, and is just under 100 km long.

Recently, a surreal video shows a stretch of this road. In it, you can watch a waterfall that falls directly on the highway, which turns into a stream! A person inside what appears to be a bus records the breathtaking crossing of anyone! Check out:

This waterfall is not the only one on Manang Road, but it is the most dangerous. It is fed by the Marsyangdí River, which gets even rougher in times of rain or melting of the Himalayan mountains. Often, the intensity of the waterfalls is so intense that it prevents the crossing, even of 4-wheel drive vehicles. Can you imagine that the video above was made in a “susse” period to cross over?

As most of the road is neither railing nor shoulder, crossing is recommended for only one car at a time, as most of the route is no more than 2 or 3 meters wide. Only well-trained people can drive around, and very brave tourists who don't suffer from vertigo risk themselves.

The video above, which recently viralized, shows the paved road. Another older video shows what the crossing was like on this stretch before the asphalt. Check out:

Would you have the courage?
