Shark charmer: diver mesmerizes fish in front of tourists

As you know, if you ever want to put a shark to sleep, just scratch your snout so that the big fish goes into a kind of trance, that is, in a state known as tonic immobility. However, although it seems to be super simple, there should not be many people out there willing to venture to test the technique, right?

However, according to the Daily Mail, Tom “Shark Whisperer” does this all the time, and in front of an astonished audience of tourists in the Bahamas. The video you can see below shows the diver in action, swimming among dozens of fish while putting some of them to sleep. Check out:

According to the Daily Mail, the animals in the clip belong to a species that inhabits coral regions and do not usually attack humans. Tom not only mesmerizes sharks, but carefully juggles some as well. See below:

Either way, as you can see, the diver is all covered with safety gear, and while sharks may seem docile, they should be treated with the care and respect they deserve. And would you, the reader, risk it? Or maybe you've had the opportunity to dive with these amazing fish? Be sure to tell us in the comments.
