These amazing photographs of abandoned places will impress you

If there's a photographer who loves to register old real estate, his name is Christian Richter. But instead of capturing the beauty of preserved or restored places, he prefers the decaying glamor of time-decayed buildings. With a rather peculiar aesthetic, the German portrays the ephemerality of the buildings erected by humanity and reveals the intriguing beauty that they curiously retain.

Born in East Germany, the photographer says he grew up surrounded by ruined industries and buildings and that the apocalyptic atmosphere of these buildings could not be found anywhere else. According to him, in eight years, his lenses photographed more than a thousand buildings in Germany, France, Belgium, Poland and Italy. Some of them you can check below:
