These are the last known photos of Jim Morrison
Jim Morrison - poet, songwriter and band leader The Doors - died in Paris at the age of 27 from heart failure (officially reported) and is considered one of the most influential figures in world rock. It's no secret that the American abused alcohol and drugs and led a very unconventional lifestyle - which is precisely why the latest known photos of him may surprise some.
That's because, as you will see below, far from showing Jim Morrison as a typical, rebellious and flamboyant rock star, the portraits are quite ... ordinary - and reveal the star as a completely ordinary guy. According to Andzelika of the Bored Panda website, the photos were clicked on June 28, 1971, during a tour Morrison took with his girlfriend, Pamela Courson, and photographer Alan Ronay, who was a friend of the couple, Saint- Leu-d'Esserent, which is north of Paris. Morrison, by the way, died only a few days later, on July 3. Check it out below:
