I accept! Check out 3 unusual weddings that ended up in water

Although wedding parties have changed a lot lately, when we receive one of those elegant invitations at home we already have a sense of what to expect from the event. Following tradition, the time for the exchange of vows and alliances between the bride and groom can take place in a religious temple, in a hall, on the beach or in the countryside. But what you will see here is none of that.

These three unusual marriages have one element in common: water. Whether it's a minor natural disaster that has upset the ceremony, a wrong choice for the party venue, or an unfortunate idea when it comes to taking pictures, all of these marriages are surprising and impressive. Check out!

1) Rain or shine

In the Philippines, the year usually has three well-defined seasons. Among them, Tag-ulan is the rainy season and extends from June to November. Even knowing this, the Filipino couple Ramoncito Camp and Hernelie Ruazol Campo chose August 8, 2012 to celebrate their union.

The ceremony was scheduled to take place in a church in the city of Manila, but heavy rains flooded the region and, as a result, flooded the chosen church. But the incident was not enough to spoil the couple's party: properly dressed in a suit and white dress, the pigeons entered the flooded church and were married. The records draw attention by the amount of water that reached knee-high.

2) Fishing

Performing beach ceremonies has become a cliché, so the grooms Kadie and Dake Schmidt - who are fishing guides - have decided to get married on the Buskin River in Kodiak, Alaska. During the vows, the priest, the newlyweds and the godparents went to the river to hear the expected "yes". The funny thing is to note that the groomsmen spent part of the ceremony holding fishing rods.

At the time of the wedding ring exchange, two salmon were responsible for bringing the jewels in their mouths. After the kiss of the bride and groom, everyone remained in the water to participate in a fishing trip. The bride and groom made a point of posing for the photo showing the first fish they hooked as husband and wife.

3) Bath in the lake

Just because the wedding was set against a beautiful lake, that doesn't mean the party has to wipe out the guests inside, doesn't it?

Well, but that's exactly what happened to the couple Maegan and Eric Walber and their 12 groomsmen in Shelbyville, Michigan. As everyone positioned themselves to take a picture on the bridge next to the ceremony site, a small noise alerted the crash: the bridge collapsed from being overweight. And so that no one will ever forget what happened, everything was recorded by the professional film crew who had been hired by the couple.

Everyone who posed for the photo ended up soaking wet, and as the video shows, some even had their phones damaged by water. In the images it is still possible to notice that the fright of the fall caused the groom to go swimming and even forget to help his bride.
