Photographer captures amazing images of animal eyes
Have you heard of photographer Suren Manvelyan? He likes to produce a very particular kind of images and photograph eyes - yes, eyes. At first the photos were only human eyes, but he was able, after reaching some popularity, to make deals with some zoos and also to photograph animal eyes.
Manvelyan says he does not disclose his techniques, but says the hardest part is having to work with eye reflexes. Photographs are produced with macro lenses, capable of capturing the smallest details of an image very closely. In a statement published on the Wired portal, the photographer states that many people do not realize that the eyes have so many microstructures and that, in fact, he did not even know it before starting to shoot.
Among the animals he would like to work with, Manvelyan cites the octopus because of its complex ocular structure. He states that his work has a large field to perform and that it would be great to have access to several zoos to be able to photograph even more animals.
