Photos of famous parodias are successful on social networks

Housewife Renata Neia is thriving on social media with her parodies of famous photos and magazine covers. It all started in July 2017, when she was experiencing self-esteem issues after gaining weight during her second pregnancy, and resolved to deal with the situation in a humorous manner.

In order to see if her diet was successful, she began making frequent clicks, either imitating a celebrity or creating alternate versions of magazine covers. And decided to post the productions on the web. She just didn't expect that her creativity and irreverence would catch the attention of thousands of netizens, including people portrayed in the montages.

Among the famous who had their photos recreated by the resident of Colinas do Tocantins (TO) are actresses Paolla Oliveira and Bruna Marquezine, singers Ivete Sangalo and Paula Fernandes, journalist Patrícia Poeta and top models Izabel Goulart and Alessandra Ambrosio. The rereadings also include covers of fashion and healthy life magazines and celebrity videos.

How it started

The joke of creating alternative versions of celebrity photos began in a group of WhatsApp, she told an interview with The Day newspaper. She shared an image mimicking the scene from the movie American Beauty (1999) in which the character Angela, role of actress Mena Suvari, appears lying in a bed of roses. In her version, Renata was photographed on top of clothes to wash.

The success was instant among friends, who encouraged her to post the production on Instagram. She followed the recommendation and gave no other: many netizens enjoyed the assembly and began to follow its profile. From then on, the number of photos grew and so did the fans.

Renata currently has over 23, 000 Instagram followers and 60, 000 on Facebook. Among them are some famous, such as actress Giovanna Antonelli, honored in one of the montages, and with whom the housewife has even met.

In addition to making her famous on the Internet, the posts also helped Renata lead a lighter life and better accept her body without neglecting her health.
