How long do you think you could handle being at your favorite game? According to the WIRED website, Okan Kaya, a sales manager at 4Cabling in Sydney, Australia, faced more than 135 hours of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 game, becoming the new world record holder facing the longest gaming session in the world.

According to the publication, the marathon began on November 13, and Kaya's intention was not just to break the previous record - set in March this year by a pair of Canadian players after 120 hours of play -, but to destroy it.

Gambling and rest

According to Guinness Book regulations, players are allowed to take breaks for 10 minutes after each hour of activity and, as these intervals are cumulative, Kaya can sleep and rest during the challenge, avoiding situations such as incoming players. collapsing and even dying from spending so many hours in front of a game.

Kaya's bosses - who insisted that the challenge be addressed at the boy's own workplace - closely followed the gamer's progress and posted constant updates on the company's Facebook page. And in addition to breaking the record, Kaya climbed to 37th position in the overall raking game.
