Elderly, deaf and earless cat transforms anxious woman's life
This 9-and-a-half-year-old cat has lost his ears to cysts that have even left him deaf
He was given the appropriate name of Otitis, but was abandoned in a shelter after his illness.
He was abandoned for a long time since no one wanted a disabled cat
Until college student Molly Lichtenwalner decided to adopt him
Molly once had a deaf dog and understands the special needs that some animals have
Otitis is very grateful for the affection and follows Molly everywhere
The kitten has even helped her new owner cope with the anxiety disorder she has been carrying for years.
Although old, Otite is "on the inside" of technology - or just likes the warmth of notebooks, like every cat
Molly says she was getting ready to have a new pet and knew she would look for one that needed special care.
"He's the best thing in my life and it's definitely him who saved me, not the other way around, " says Molly.
