Man photographed milky way with fake miniatures as scenery

Diorama is a kind of three-dimensional artistic representation presented in both miniature and large scale, and its main function is to ultra-realistically portray real life scenes such as landscapes, historical events, animals, plants and nature for the purpose. entertainment or to convey any message, be it social-political or artistic-historical.

Although there are many similarities to each other, dioramas cannot be confused with mockups, which are generally used only in urban and architectural projects. The term was coined by photographer and artist Louis Daguerre along with French painter Charles Marie Bouton in 1823, and originated from the Greek word which, in free translation, means something like "through it is seen."

Inspired by his love of nature and the fascination with the night skies, award-winning Syrian photographer Samy Al Olabi went viral while recording the Milky Way background with its fake miniature scenery set in the middle of the UAE desert.

The photos were all taken during the Milky Way Season, which is when the so-called Galactic Center can be seen with the naked eye, made up of a higher density of stars and gaseous clouds, visible at night in places that do not have high pollution and that can not reflect the false lights created by urban centers so the choice of deserts.
