Beautiful and genius idea: Designer makes dresses with gift wrap

There is always that person who opens Christmas presents carefully to eventually reuse the wrapping of every treat in the future, right? Fashion designer Olivia Mears does more or less the same thing - the difference, in her case, is that the wrapping paper she reuses turns out to be just wonderful dresses.

It all started in December 2013, when Olivia released her first dress and eventually became known worldwide when her original idea went viral. Concerning the concept of her work, she says that her focus is to find ways to recycle materials and turn them into art and fashion, which, we must be able to do with mastery.

Each of the pieces she produces is made of gift wrap, colorful ribbons and lots of glitter, resulting in fantastic compositions worthy of Disney's most beautiful princesses. Next, get to know Olivia's work a little better and then tell us what you think of this idea:
