Illustrator recreates monsters drawn by children

Aaron Zenz is an illustrator working on children's book designs. Two years ago, however, he has been developing a very curious and fun project, also within the children's universe: he asks children to draw monsters, and from the material he receives, Zenz creates his professional version of the thing. Some time ago we talked about his work here at Mega Curioso, and today we will release some of the recent creations of this partnership between Zenz and many children.

Bored Panda told the artist that he has received more than 17, 000 drawings since he began his project, and that he decided to illustrate those who inspire him in some way. Designs are currently on display at ArtPrize 2018 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

During the event, Zenz will choose some drawings sent by the city's children to illustrate live on the ArtPrize website. Check out some of the latest drawings made by him:
