Illustrator turns National Geographic photos into charming drawings

It's hard to find anyone who is not a fan of the amazing images captured by the talented National Geographic team of photographers, right? It's also pretty hard to find who doesn't like cute cartoon characters, right? So an artist and illustrator from Shanghai - who introduces himself as JN Crazy - had the brilliant idea of bringing the two together and creating a really, really cool series!

According to Hidreley of Bored Panda, the illustrator selects some of his favorite National Geographic photos and turns the scenes into images that look like animations from Pixar or Disney, for example. And the cool thing is that, as you can see below, JN Crazy not only shows the original portrait and lovely result of his work, but shares the process he used to get the final illustration.
