Illustrations show how much food is 3,000 calories

When it comes to food, crossing the line is a frequent problem, isn't it? On celebratory dates, such as birthdays and weddings, or during holidays, such as company get-togethers or Christmas and New Year's Eve suppers, eating more than necessary seems almost the norm.

Although the recommended daily allowance for women is 2, 000 calories and for men, 2, 500 calories, on these occasions we can easily eat about 3, 000 calories with just a better dinner (with dessert, of course). !).

Based on one of the most important dates in the United States, Thanksgiving, the Calorie Control Council estimates that an American will be able to eat 4, 500 calories at the traditional dinner that celebrates the date. The American Exercise Council and The New York Times account for an intake of about 3, 000 calories.

It doesn't take much thought to realize that on these occasions we eat more at a single meal than we usually eat for a whole day. Certainly the feeling of overeating is not at all comfortable, but can you imagine how much food is needed to add such a large amount of calories?

So we could see how much food is 3, 000 calories, Greatist people have developed an infographic that shows how many pieces of pizza or slices of bread would be needed to add it all together. Check out:
