Illustrations Comically Show 21 Benefits of Having a Cat

The Lingvistov project started as a language school via Skype founded by two graduate students at a university in Nijni Novgorod, Russia, and has become a whole different thing. They started to spread extremely creative illustrations by Landysh Akhmetzyanova - one of the founders of Lingvistov - and people really liked it, so a virtual store was created where prints, cards and books are sold.

One of the books marketed is 21 Benefits of Having a Cat. He has very humorous drawings showing that these pets teach us to live in a unique way. Landysh said, in an interview with Mega Curious, that he is inspired by his cat, August, to do the arts.

A lot of people say cats are cold, but Landysh disagrees: “I think they are aliens! They are not cold. They only know their value. ” This book even came from him: “It's all because of my cat. I was wondering what it brings to my life. Is he really helpful? My friends say he just eats and sleeps, but I started to think about it and there are several reasons why it is great to have a cat.
