Amazing: Bacteria Teeth-Proof

It is not today that most young children are too lazy to brush their teeth. But the solution to this problem may be coming - with great chances of changing the way oral hygiene is done.

Researchers José Cordoba (United States) and Erich Astudillo (Chile) have discovered a bacterium that can kill all caries causing agents within 60 seconds. The name given to this microorganism is “Keep 32” - alluding to the 32 teeth in an adult's mouth.

According to research, the bacteria can be used in any type of oral care product, such as toothpastes and general rinses. However, the most curious thing is that even mixed in candies and chewing gum, this “cleaning agent” still has an effect, protecting the teeth for hours.

The intention of the discoverers is to put the product in the American market within 18 months, with the possibility of being used even by companies that sell chocolates.
