Laércio from BBB: Is it a crime to prefer the 'brand new' girls?

The 2016 edition of BBB has barely begun, and we already have major controversies involving some confined ones. Last night (2) was eliminated the participant Laercio, a 53-year-old curitibano tattoo artist who claimed to date a 19-year-old girl and dating one of 17. In his conversations inside the house, Laercio made it clear that he likes same is the "brand new" - term used to refer sexually to underage girls.

Annoyed by the tattoo artist's statements, the participant Ana Paula accused her brother of pedophilia. During a discussion that took place last Saturday (30), the sister called him a disgusting old man and shouted so that he would not just keep his underwear in the house - it was bothering other sisters besides Ana Paula.

Laércio's controversial statements caught the attention of netizens, and it was not long before the profile that the tattoo artist maintains on Facebook was overturned. Between likes, comments, and shares, we see images of teens in sexy poses, likes on pages about firearms, Nazism, and racial supremacy.

In one of the old publications on his profile, Laércio was called a pedophile and responded by saying that he is an efebophile, which is the name given to adults who are attracted to teenagers aged 13-17. The brother also enjoyed the fanpage of Valentina, the MasterChef Junior participant who, despite being only 12 years old, was the subject of comments of a sexual nature.

Both pedophilia and efebophilia are not a crime in Brazil, and because of this the debate has revolved around Brazilian legislation. Still, it is worth stressing, having sex with children under 14 is a vulnerable rape crime.

What many Internet users are considering is a reflection on the subject, which can be viewed and analyzed based on cultural aspects that consider it normal or acceptable for children and adolescents to be viewed by adults as objects of sexual desire. Tell us what you think about this subject!
