Latino posts photo in aircraft cabin during flight and complicates TAM

The Latin singer is again involved in controversy. Last week he posted on his Twitter account a link to four images showing him making the "V" of the win and apparently holding one of the power throttles, a kind of throttle on the plane.

It would just be a curious photo for the singer's fans if it wasn't for the fact that the plane was in full flight. In the air, the National Civil Aviation Agency prohibits any passenger from having access to the cockpit. Even worse if someone not enabled touches the aircraft controls.

In an interview with Folha de S.Paulo, pilots of aircraft who declined to be identified reported that the displays indicate that the aircraft was on its way and, even operating with autopilot, a touch of the singer with more force on the throttle could turn it off.

Case will be investigated

ANAC is investigating the case and has already called TAM company, responsible for the flight, to provide explanations. If found irregularity, the pilot may receive a fine between $ 2, 000 and $ 5, 000 and the area company between $ 4, 000 and $ 20, 000. According to Carlos Camacho, director of flight safety for the National Aircraft Union, the attitude is "unimaginable and resignable."

In a note, the Latino singer's press office first stated that the plane was on the ground when the picture was taken. However, informed that the panel was showing a different situation, she went back and said she would give a new answer - which did not happen. TAM also spoke out and classified the incident as a “serious misconduct, ” saying it will take all appropriate disciplinary action.
