5 more couples who hated kissing on stage

The loving couples we see in the movies don't always get along in real life. Check out some actors who claimed to have hated kissing their scene partners. The reasons are as varied as possible, but the justifications of Vivien Leigh and Kim Basinger are unquestionable: kissing someone with bad breath is not possible, right?

1. Marilyn Monroe and Tony Curtis - “The Hotter the Better”

Kissing one of the biggest icons in movie history must have been amazing, hasn't it? Well, not to Tony Curtis: The actor even said that kissing Marilyn was like kissing Hitler! Years later, he explained that this had been a joke, but during the comedy classic shootings the actress couldn't focus on anything, making all the work very exhausting - and look that both had already had an affair in the early years 50!

2. Vivien Leigh and Clark Gable - "... And the Wind Gone"

The folks at the American Film Institute (AFI) put this 1939 classic as the second best romantic movie ever. Behind the scenes, however, things were a little tense: Clark Gable was running late, making perfectionist Vivien Leigh very angry! The actress kept complaining about Gable's lack of punctuality, who took revenge on her by eating an onion salad before shooting the famous kiss scene.

3. Sophia Loren and Marlon Brando - “The Countess of Hong Kong”

When the Italian actress landed in Hollywood, many passionate hearts appeared - including Clark Gable, married to his third wife and 30 years older than Sophia, would have invested in the newcomer. She also had to cut Marlon Brando, who during the recording of “The Countess of Hong Kong” would have abused her position to try to bow the actress at the time of the kiss.

4. Meryl Streep and Dustin Hoffman - “Kramer Vs. Kramer ”

Meryl and Dustin devoted themselves so much to the film in which they play a couple in crisis that both ended up taking the Oscars: him as the lead actor and she as the supporting actress. However, such dedication came at a price, as they dressed their characters so much that they had a hateful and conflicting relationship even with the cameras off. So when it came time to record a kiss scene, the situation was almost untenable!

5. Kim Basinger and Mickey Rourke - “9 and ½ Weeks of Love”

The '80s classic that catapulted Kim and Mickey to double sex symbol status also had problems: in addition to their not getting along personally, Kim complained that kissing the partner on the scene was bad because of the taste of cigarette in his mouth. Mickey complained about having to kiss an "unattractive" actress. It's easy?
