More Beauty Fair news

I came back to show you the latest Beauty Fair news that I had taken home to test. Starting once again with the nail polish: Tropical was chosen from Dailus Color's Enhance line. I confess I had never heard of the brand, but I think that's good. When it comes to nail polish, I like to test unknown brands - I often get a good surprise, whether it's the color or the quality of the brand itself.

But this time, I think I was not lucky ... I chose this nail polish because it has a beautiful color: a strong and vibrant coral, which would match the hot days that have been present in the capital of Paraná. Not so orange, not so pink - Tropical is almost a perfect coral.

Slightly watery, the enamel covers well with two layers, but could be more pigmented. However, the biggest problem was the duration: within two days, the nail polish was gone (worse than that?) And then all the fingers kept peeling until I gave up and took it all. So sad, I was very disappointed.

Isotonic Fruits Line - Oriental Fruits.

Another product I tested was Griffus Cosmetics Isotonic Fruits Conditioner. The product packaging says it was specially developed for chemically treated hair, which is not my case, but that's fine. The cream is made with oriental fruits - lychee, peach and pomegranate - so it is very fragrant. At the time of spreading the conditioner on my hair, as Claudia has already commented, I felt the need to use a larger amount than I'm used to. The texture, more watery than normal, did not yield as well as the other conditioners and ended up having to neat in the application. The strands became soft and very fragrant, but, unfortunately, the good smell of the fruit soon disappeared.

However, the big surprise of the fair was the shampoo and conditioner of the Lemon Refreshing line from Ctrl Sys. And refreshing it, my people! The sample packaging says “refreshing and invigorating” and, in fact, the products refreshed everything that lay ahead.

As I shampooed and started massaging my hair, I felt my eyes were strange - not irritated or bruised, none of that - but I had a very weird minty feeling. I made sure I didn't let the shampoo fall into my eyes and realized that everything was fine.

Then it was the conditioner's turn, which didn't leave my eyes strange, it was worse! My hair is relatively long, so I always leave the strands resting on my back after the conditioner and wait a few minutes before rinsing. I noticed that during that time my skin was too refreshing ... Parentheses: Did you put toothpaste on your body as a child? I have! And it was just that feeling of minty freshness, only on your skin! Close parentheses. I rinsed the strands and dropped plenty of water on my back to try to ease that awful feeling, and nothing. I spent a lot of soap, and nothing. The way was to get out of the shower and let the effect go by itself, just as I did with toothpaste many years ago ...

Checking the packaging of the samples, the two cite "menthol" among the ingredients of the formula. The business was whether this was the way the company found to make a “refreshing and invigorating” product or if someone else missed the quantities. I confess that the sensation of freshness in the eyes and skin was more uncomfortable than pleasant, perhaps, one day, if it was very hot, the feeling would be cooler.

Not to mention that the perfume of shampoo and conditioner is not the best: my hair smelled like cleaning product. However, everything has a bright side: my hair was a great shine, soft and much less volume than normal. And after 24 hours, that strange smell was almost completely gone.

And you? Have you had bad experiences testing any cosmetics?

See you,
F.
