Mixing drawings with objects, cartoonist plays with our feelings
Mixing everyday objects with drawings is not exactly new, but few cartoonists are as creative as Iranian Majid Khosroanjom. About to turn 40, the guy draws since he was 15 and can create works at first simple, but jumping out of paper.
Majid works as an industrial designer, but in his spare time, he creates images by blending traces with LEGO pieces, cell phones, matches and whatever else he gives him on the tile. The result is a collection of comic strips that show how we feel about the world or even strong criticism of modern society.
Majid already has more than 110, 000 followers on her Instagram. He says that when he was young in Tehran, access to quality papers was so restricted that they became prizes for the best students. So the staff had to settle for small, poor-quality notebooks, but even so, it was in them that he learned to draw.
