Traffic accidents cause the deaths of thousands of people worldwide every year. And when someone goes through a crash at 300 km / h, no one is expected to survive, right? Fortunately, this time we have a different - and very unexpected - ending to an accident of these proportions.

According to the Jalopnik website, a man was driving his BMW M5 through an Autobahn (German highways that in many parts have no speed limitations). When he was at a speed of 300 km / h, he was surprised by another car and, when diverting, lost control of his vehicle.

After hitting the guards on both sides of the track, spinning and rolling several times (for about 100 meters), the car stopped and the driver's sons (who were in two other BMW cars) managed to put out the fire and save their father, a passenger and a dog in the vehicle. All were referred to the hospital, but there were no deaths.

How is this possible?

A question everyone asks: "How did they manage to survive such an intense accident?" There are no explanations that can really generate certainty, but certainly car safety technologies contributed a lot in this case.
