Parallel worlds: Photographer portrays sights in a different way

Most people, when they travel and come across historic buildings or famous landmarks, point the camera directly at those places and ... click ! There are even people who try to capture these places from slightly less obvious angles and such, but the truth is, as we explained in a previous article here on Mega Curioso, only on Instagram, more than half of the photos in sights are the same, and we also share a video that shows that basically all of our travel photos are copies.

We come across the work of a Spanish photographer named Guido Guiérrez Ruiz - who runs away from the ordinary. This guy enjoys traveling around the world, but instead of doing what most would do, he looks for puddles on sidewalks and gutters and captures reflections of the monuments and tourist sites he visits.

The result, far from being strange or “dirty”, is very beautiful and surprising, not to mention that, as the photographer himself explained in a post on the Bored Panda website, the impression is that he is portraying parallel worlds. Ah! Another detail: Instead of using hard-to-use photographic equipment and supercar lenses, Guido just uses his smartphone's camera. Check it out below:
