Be sure to see! Boy turns Batman for a day and thrills the whole world
A few days ago we told you the story of a sick boy and the performance of an organization quite unlike any you have ever seen. The boy's name is Miles, and at the age of five he is already facing the cruel battle against leukemia. The foundation is Make a Wish, which makes some people's dreams possible.
And Miles didn't want little! The boy's biggest dream was to become Batman. Alright, that would be no problem. On the last 15th, the city of San Francisco, USA, had a historic moment of general commotion. All to get a close look at what Miles's life would be like that day - or rather, little Batman's life that day.
The foundation organized everything so that the boy had his superhero day, and the result of the initiative was a huge, incredible and completely exciting mobilization, including even a message from President Barack Obama.
City police had been sticking to the idea since October, and volunteers were preparing for Bat Kid's action, as it became known. In addition, more than 11, 000 people took to the streets to closely monitor the improvements that the little hero would promote. Here's what the most amazing day of Miles's life was like:
