The most tattooed man in the UK is a 69 year old grandpa

Tommy Wells, a 69-year-old grandpa, has his body completely covered in paint. With over a thousand designs, the Manchester-area Englishman is the most tattooed man in the UK, including his toes, face, lips, butt, and even his tattooed genitals.

According to the Daily Mail, tattoos began when Wells was only 17 and his then-future wife, Sandra, challenged him to make one. Since then, he has never stopped, and has been cultivating this bizarre hobby for 52 years. Although his wife made him promise not to tattoo his face or head, Grandpa broke the promise by making a declaration of love on the back of his head after Sandra passed away seven years ago.

After the tribute, Wells ended up covering the rest of his free skin with new designs, and expects his wife to forgive him for it. Although his kids like tattoos too, Grandpa doesn't believe they get that far. According to Wells, it took him 52 years to get his whole body covered and would do it again if he was young again.
