With the closure of Fashion Rio fashion shows a few days ago, it's time to stay on top of trends to prepare the wardrobe for the warm season. The good news is that much of the elements that were successful in winter will continue to rise in summer.

That's because those who followed the international fashion presentations and the latest Brazilian fashion seasons will see little news in this edition of Fashion Rio. Metallized, transparencies, looks all jeans and sets continue to rise, with space for floral and tribal prints. The candy colors and peplum style, which predominated in the collections of the main brands abroad, also frequently appeared on the carioca catwalk.

The upside is that the trends are democratic and offer a range of options with enough variety to please everyone. A style that doesn't suit you can easily be replaced with another. Check out what's up next summer and start securing your favorite pieces now.

Transparency

Light and fresh as summer, the transparencies continue high in the heat season, making the looks more sensual. On the Fashion Rio catwalk, the trend was a mandatory presence in most fashion shows. The brand Daughters of Gaia bet on transparent shirts and dresses overlapped top cropped and hot pants.

Melk Z-Da also featured stylish dresses that had appliques to hide the strategic regions. At Totem, the transparent tailoring shirts also abounded, appearing in combination with metallic tops. Other brands that bet on transparency were Oh, Boy !, Herchcovitch, Agatha and Patachou.

It is noteworthy that the style is democratic and looks good on most women, but care must be taken when choosing the production, not to end up with a vulgar look. So invest in overlap and tailoring for a trend-based look.

Metallized

Metallic jackets, accessories and trousers that are thriving in winter display cases will continue to rise in summer. In Rio de Janeiro fashion week, the golden fabrics appeared in several brands, such as Oh, Boy !, Balcony, Totem and New Order.

At Totem, the metallized blended with transparencies for current looks with sensual footprint. At New Order, gold was the shining detail of nude dresses. Already in Oh Boy! He appeared in full jackets, shoes and accessories.

Thus, the metallic has definitely ceased to be exclusive in party looks to hit the streets in daytime and nighttime production. Those who like to dare can bet on whole pieces combined with neutral models. However, those who are afraid of investing in style may resort to bags, shoes and other accessories that only add a touch of brilliance to the look.

Cropped tops

It's not from today that cropped tops have fallen in favor of summer brands. The trend has already been successful in the 2012 heat season and TodaEla has even taught you how to use the style.

In the latest edition of Fashion Rio, Bhutanese returned to the catwalks combined with shorts, skirts and high-waisted pants, forming feminine looks that left the tummy out. Remember that this is a trend for those with the measures in order, and the intention is to leave just a little skin on display, to avoid vulgarity. It can also be combined with transparencies for an even more current look.

Brand names such as TNG, Melk Z-Da, Alessa, Maria Bonita Extra and Coca Cola Clothing abused cropped tops. At TNG, the piece came in combination with tailoring models such as the blazer.

The open stitch plots appeared in some Minas Trend Preview fashion shows, warning that the hand-crafted style would be a hit in the summer. At Fashion Rio, brands such as Ágatha, Daughters of Gaia and Nica Kessler bet on these elements to give more personality to the looks.

In the Nica Kessler collection, it was possible to see open-stitch plots overlaid with floral prints and giving details to the dress or skirt bar. Agatha has invested in whole open-stitch blouses that can be combined with overlays.

Little sets

The wave of little sets will not end in winter. At Fashion Rio, they returned to be part of the fashion shows, with different prints, current patterns and male versions. The pieces were updated with the use of new fabrics, such as transparencies and metallics, as well as versions in candy colors.

In R. Groove, the sets consisted of shirts and shorts printed with foliage or handkerchief prints, but there are also plain versions for the less daring men. TNG bet on monochrome sets with cropped top and blazer to match, while Totem presented versions with transparency and hot pants.

Other brands that bet on the sets were Alessa, Sacada, Coven and Andrea Marques.

Candy Colors

Candy colors have appeared in international fashion shows, such as Louis Vuitton and Prada, and have recently been featured in the Minas Trend Preview collections. At Fashion Rio, it was no different: they appeared in the collections of Canton, Espaço Fashion, Patachou, Auslander, Agatha, Coven and Maria Bonita Extra.

Faded and watercolored, they form typical ladylike looks, leaving femininity and romanticism on the rise.

Those who don't like the trend can adapt it to their style, mixing the candy colors with intense shades like orange, pink and klein blue, which also had space on the catwalk. On the other hand, those who bet on style can be inspired by the looks presented by designer brands in Rio fashion week.

Fluo and citrus colors

In contrast to the candy colors, the fluo and citrus shades, inspired by fruits such as lemon, lime and tangerine, also had their place at Fashion Rio. For next summer, they appear combined with neutral colors, such as black and white, forming looks that can please everyone.

At Espaço Fashion, the fluo colors appeared on jackets, T-shirts, in the composition of prints and in sets. Designer brands like Maria Bonita Extra, Blue Man, Tryia and Sacada also bet on the trend.

Prints for all tastes

The prints promise not to be out of summer, according to Fashion Rio trends. Floral and tribal designs appear mainly in pants, which have already fallen in the taste of celebrities and promise to gain more space on the streets.

Scarf prints also appeared in sets, blouses and trousers, in addition to the arabesques that refer to mosaics or tiles and the tropical images that had already appeared in the last heat season.

The brands that bet on the prints include 2nd Floor, Coca Cola Clothing, Herchcovitch, Lenny and Sacada.

Clippings

One of the news for this summer was the use of clippings to make the pieces different. They appeared in necklines, sleeves and shoulders, leaving some strips of skin on display.

On the Blue Man beachwear label, the cutouts in swimsuits created new models that hid some parts of the abdomen and are not suitable for sunbathing. Salinas and Cia Marítima also bet on the cutouts in their collections, as well as Nica Kessler, who marked the waist of their looks through technique.

It is also worth mentioning the deep necklines in the back presented in some collections, which made the visuals more sensual.

Peplum

The peplum is another trend that first appeared on the international catwalks, paraded in Minas Trend Preview and also appeared in Fashion Rio Summer 2013. Maria Bonita Extra, Oh, Boy !, Alessa and Daughters of Gaia bet on the style in their collections for the heat .

Mullet

Nor is it today that mullet length pieces (asymmetrical being longer at the back) are successful. At Fashion Rio, they once again appeared at the Melk Z-Da, Auslander, Patachou and Totem fashion shows.

At Melk Z-Da, the style appeared in dresses with the cropped hem and matching transparencies. At Patachou, asymmetry also emerged in loose shirts.

Fringes

The 2nd Floor collection, inspired by the tropical cowboy, brought an element back to summer: the fringes. They appeared on the bar of short dresses, skirts and tops. Patachou and TNG also bet on the style, the latter putting fringes on the detail of their bags.

All jeans

A total jeans look need not be synonymous with just casual productions. At Fashion Rio, it was possible to see the trend in sophisticated versions, proving that denim will be high in summer.

Coca Cola Clothing, TNG and Herchcovitch were some brands that invested in all jeans visuals. In this style, the advantage is that pieces of various other materials combine easily, as well as pleasing women and men. To escape the summer heat, it is worth investing in shorter models such as shorts, shorts and dresses.
