What does a pilot see during an emergency landing?

According to the folks at GADLING, the video above shows, from a pilot's point of view, an emergency landing by a glider in Cleveland, United States. The clip features how the small aircraft swerves from rooftops, passes very close to some treetops, and finds a motionless road to land on.

The pilot, Larry E. Hockensmith, licensed to fly for over 40 years, is still learning how to handle small gliders, and his experience has probably made all the difference in maneuvering. After all, the only problem was flapping one wing on a mailbox, causing the aircraft to spin off the runway.
