Oh boy! go get your references in oriental culture

According to Vogue magazine, the debut of the carioca brand Oh, Boy! Fashion Rio should be marked by oriental culture, with its inspiration coming directly from a Zen garden.

To associate the Japanese references with a bit of modernity, the designer has mixed traditional oriental modeling with contemporary cuts. The result, according to Vogue, is satin-made sports jackets that get a kimono look.

The mix of materials is one of the highlights of the collection, bringing heavy fabrics such as nylon and leather, along with the lightness of satin, jacquard silk and organza. Already the color chart works with vibrant shades, including pink, red, grape, deep blue and also a gradient of greens with hints of gold, black and off white. Oriental influences reappear on panda origami prints and blend with vintage poster designs and university pennants.

Oh, Boy! at Fashion Rio happens tomorrow, May 22, at 17 hours.
