The weirdest places some people have ever lived

The human being is fascinated by people who defy the common place in many ways. One is to live in a space that is not exactly a home - although many people do not live in a decent and suitable place in many countries of the world, including Brazil, there are environments and even situations where the issue of housing is very strange. .

Whether it's a matter of survival, unfortunate circumstances or just eccentricity, some people don't live exactly in the normal way. Check out some examples that the List Verse site revealed.

A 57-year-old man in Fukuoka, Japan, was upset because some groceries in his kitchen were disappearing. Then he fixed a surveillance camera in place, which sent the images directly to his cell phone. In this he discovered that there was an intruder in his apartment and called the police.

When the police searched the residence, they discovered that the intruder was actually a woman, who was hiding in an upper compartment in the pantry. Tatsuka Horikawa was 58 years old and even managed to set up a "cafofo" on the spot with a small mattress; she showered when the homeowner was away. She said she had nowhere else to live and entered the house a year earlier when the owner left the door open. She was charged with trespassing.

In 2003, Michael Townsend and his wife settled in unused space at a mall in Rhode Island, United States. They managed to steal building materials from the mall (which was nearing completion) to create their apartment, which was hidden by a concrete wall. The place had electricity and was fully furnished, but they used the mall bathrooms.

They lived in space for four years without anyone noticing - until one day they were noticed by the security guards. The creator of the apĂȘ stated that the space was an art project and his goal was to understand the mall and life as a customer. He was sentenced to six months probation after pleading guilty to trespassing.

A 56-year-old man from New Mexico was found living in a cave on the Energy Department property. Roy Moore's makeshift villa has been fitted with a bed, a front door, a wood burning stove, solar panels and even satellite radio. He had lived in the cave for four years unnoticed.

However, the smoke from his stove caught the attention of the authorities, who also discovered a few more details there: a simple marijuana plantation. Moore and his belongings were removed and he was charged with narcotic rape and crime.

4) Forest

An eight-year-old Cambodian girl has disappeared and lived in the wild for 19 years in a forest. She was discovered when a man saw the girl appear naked in the jungle, trying to steal her food. According to police, she had no intelligible speech.

She was identified by her father due to some childhood scars on her arms. Attempts to reintegrate the girl into society failed because she was unable to learn the local language, preferred to crawl rather than walk, and refused to wear clothes. In addition, she eventually fled back to the forest.

5) Tunnel

Kansas City police discovered an elaborate series of underground tunnels where some homeless in the city were living. The tunnels were excavated in a wooded region and gained ventilation with PVC pipes. The entrances were disguised with shrubs and other debris. One of the deepest tunnels led to a room with bed and candles. Once discovered, the tunnels were emptied and deactivated because housing conditions were unsafe and the site could collapse.

6) School bus

A Texas post office worker became concerned when he constantly saw two poorly cared for children on his daily route and warned police. A girl and a boy, aged between five and eleven, were living alone in an old abandoned school bus that was parked on a littered lot.

His parents were in prison for participating in a robbery of hurricane Ike victims. But the bus was well equipped, as it had electricity, running water, air conditioning and even a bathroom. The children were alone most of the time, but an aunt also lived there. However, she worked 12-hour shifts, leaving them unsupervised for a long time.

They were not enrolled in school, had little food and were dirty. As a result, they were taken to a shelter for welfare. After being released from jail, parents have regained custody of their children and are currently working to improve living conditions right on the bus.
